Technical Instructor


Job Description


We are looking for qualified candidates that have premier teaching skills to join our faculty. We have an opening for a full-time technical instructor at our Albuquerque and El Paso locations.
  • Deliver high-end instructor-led technical classes via our web-based application from one of our studios, in-classroom, or at a client's location (travel may be required)
  • Teach courses from approved Microsoft and partner courseware and develop daily lesson plans
  • Instruct classes using a variety of delivery methods
  • Participate in school retention by providing regular feedback to students and the school concerning academics, behavior, attendance, etc.
  • Maintain expertise in subject area and suggest improvements in curriculum design
  • Maintain industry certifications
  • Maintain quality of delivery as measured by student evaluations
  • Increase professional and technical knowledge
  • Assist Admissions department as needed (consult on content and delivery)

Skills


To qualify as a Technical Instructor you must have:
  • A minimum of 1 to 3-plus years instructing in a classroom or training center environment preferred
  • Minimum 3 years applicable experience in network systems administration, network architecture, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routers and switches, Windows OS based server, application/web development and client environments
  • College degree or comparable real world experience
  • Certifications such as MCITP, MCTS, MCPD, MCT, CCNA, CCNP, Network+, A+, Security+, and CISSP are desirable
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills required
  • Ability to utilize different methods and mediums in delivering course material
  • Past history of developing and maintaining constructive working relationships with others and maintaining them over time
  • Ability to obtain and maintain licenses if applicable as required by state or accrediting commissions
  • Experience delivering training to corporate developers and IT professionals
  • High level understanding of Microsoft technical products and technologies
  • Excellent communication, presentation and people skills
  • Exceptional classroom management skills; must be able to present in a clear and engaging way to both the novice and advanced students
  • Strong customer-service orientation
  • Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Full-time and Part-time Microsoft Technical/Applications Instructors


We are looking for qualified candidates that have premier teaching skills to join our faculty. We have openings for full-time and part-time trainer positions and web-based instructor positions.

Our delivery methods combine traditional instructor-led training with the latest in online and e-learning technology. The ideal candidates will have experience providing quality technical training covering MCITP, MCTS, MCPD, and CompTIA courses. SQL and .NET areas of emphasis are highly desirable. We are also hiring part-time applications instructors.

  • College degree preferred
  • Excellent communication, presentation and people skills
  • Exceptional classroom management skills; must be able to present in a clear and engaging way to both the novice and advanced students
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Strong customer-service orientation
